The Dunmer Challenge

Ok guys, in light of recent threads... I issue a challenge to any and all capable of taking a screen shot. And the challenge is to make the most attractive Dark Elf you possibly can. Male or Female.

The rules are:

1. Has to be a Dunmer, no cheating with a dark skinned Bosmer.
2. Has to be the VANILLA version. No cheating with mods.
3. If you feel inclined to be humorous and make a hideous mother f'er go ahead, but that's not a challenge now, is it? :tops:

Alright, here's hoping this doesn't get buried. I would start off, but... I'm a console player so unless you want a shifty/crappy ipod photo...

Ready. Set. Go... let's prove the Orcs are still the ugliest race!

Impossible to make good looking males though.


Not bad. It's a shame you cannot get rid of the eye-bags without modding, though.

Ok... here's my attempt at making a male one. I used no mods. I tried to make his features seem more Altmer like.

I always thought Dunmer were one of the better looking races, but then I've always had a thing for grumpy looking men :P

I love(d) Dunmer. My one and only character was a dunmer in Oblivion. I hate the fact that they all look old and wrinkled. I don't mind the fact they look wild and aggressive, that's what they're meant to look like. I just hate that you can't make a young Dunmer. :(

Redguards are the best looking race in Skyrim I think.

That first pic kinda reminds me of Bela Lugosi (sp) as Dracula.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bela_Lugosi that's a pic w/o makeup.

Thank you. Shame I didn't keep her, had to delete some savegames trying to make it more organized.

PS The only mod I'm using is the No More Blocky Face, btw. Nothing else. The effects from the image are from the ENB settings.

I think thats a pretty attractive male Dunmer. I will admit its pretty hard to make a very young looking dark elf, but i think mine is decent :)

anyone know why the mer people (pretty much all of them) look so bad in skyrim? I dont remember them looking this bad in oblivion (course, pretty much everyone looked bad, so...) and tbh never played morrowind
