Purchased Skyrim a while ago, but recently started playing. Feeling a little in the dark when it comes to the plot.
Basically I can choose to support either the Stormcloaks or the Empire. The former want independence, the latter wants Skyrim to remain in the Empire. Then I've heard scattered stories about the Thalmor, I don't really know where they fit in the whole mess yet. This is all I have to go on when choosing sides. I don't know much about the story. Feel I need something more to go on before picking either one. Could someone fill me in on the basics?
