From what I've heard Skyrim is gonna get 5 dlc's. 4 'small' dlc's and 1 big dlc.

DG and Hearthfire are part of the 4 small dlc's. Hopefully they will do the 5. Only time will tell.

You mean major DLC, like Shivering Isles? Two. But Skyrim will probably get more. It's too successful to stop at two.

I, personally, expecting DLCs for Skyrim until 2014 which is when the next generation of consoles are suppose to become out.

Also, I believe Dawnguard is one of the smaller DLCs...

IDK I think they got alot more DLC planned for Skyrim. They seem to be paying more attention to it then other TES games. For example were already on patch 1.7 and only have 1 dlc out.

Fallout had 5. New Vegas had the same, including the GRA (equivalent to Hearthfire). I hope Skyrim follows a similar course.

If DG is the biggest dlc then it'd be slightly disappointing. I'd like the coup-d-grace to be the biggest of the dlc's.
I think (somewhere) DG was considered 'small'. I don't know where from and the thread it was on is long buried beneath all these other threads, it was sometime before DG's release when people were still Beta Testers. So who knows. I'll get bored and look for it more than likely.

What I want for the big DLC is atmora, it would be sort of like shivering isles, big, large area. Since this is skyrim, the lore ties in so heavily with atmora, that I feel it's perfect. It would be crazy to ignore it IMO.

I played Oblivion and all its DLCs. Honestly? The character you played there was rather limited. There wasn't much room for further development, in my opinion. The Dragonborn, however, is akin a big S&S superhero, which always makes me think about all the adventures Marvel & DC characters have. For example, how long have Superman and Spiderman been having adventures? With Dragonborn and his powers you could quite easily send him on many D&D type adventures after the main game is over.

I thought Knights of the nine was a small one.
it was just a questline for some armor, which i don't like the look of. It looks like its for a Cleric/Paladin warrior.

Skyrim sales exceeded expectations. They know DLC will sell. No sound business reason not to keep releasing stuff they know will sell right up to Fallout 4 or whatever is next. My bet is a 'remastered for Nextbox' Skyrim would turn some profit too.

Iwouln't call Dawnguard a Big one ... more like Knight of the nine perhaps ...

or a normal Fallout Expansion and Fallout got 5 if I am not wrong ...

But I honestly hope in a couple BIG ones of the size of Bloodmoon ...

Let's face it, the game (as a whole, in future hindsight) is crying out for a sizeable landmass addition. Whatever else we want, I think it's fair to say the majority will not in any be satisfied with BGS until Skyrim gets it's anologue of the Shivering Isles. They have had a 'small team' on Hearthfire, a team or two of coders still bug hunting, I would assume especially for PS3 Dawnguard, what are the rest of the devs up to that justifies their continuing pay checks? Must be something, and I am assuming something big out of more than just wishful thinking, as nothing less will do.
