The Feeling

So far we haven't seen any trailers or even any moving images of game play (even by accident), Nor have we heard any music from the game's sound track. Based on what you have seen, heard and read what does Dishonored make you think of?

For me the government reminds me of the Hierarchy from Jay Naylor's New Worlds. The blend of magic and science reminds me of Gargoyles (the old Disney cartoon), I loved that show when I was little. I also get a bit of a Firefly vibe. And while I don't know anything about the sound track yet I get the feeling I'm going to be listening to a lot of Kamelot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NCp2g61hFM

From what I've seen the world gives me a very recession-esque feeling, the world being torn between the plague and corrupt politicians and worse thugs and bandits running the street. It's hardly a happy feeling world, but at the same time knowing that there is magic within it makes me feel that there is a whole different aspect to Dishonored that we've yet to see. Not to mention the Outsider and the Whales (though hunted for their precious oils and bones). The world, to me, is one of mystery and disaster. I probably explain how I feel towards the game better with my artwork (which I plan to do more of), but with my few words, it's a world that has chaotic beauty.
