well wtf! why did we jus spend all the time in that debate? why would you even argue for there side you...you blasphmer! lol jk but no seriously im not saying i dont like the game. I dont regret my purchase or anything of the sort. the campain is really great the multiplayer is well done too (other than the obvious bugs) but they shouldent have screwed us by porting to were they came from as a company. However if they dx11 patch...i might reconsider

i do not regret my purchase at all either. i like this game. i do not take sides, i was just stating what Crytek has been saying with there equality of all platforms and cheap PCs. and that pisses off a lot of the PC base, understandably. but its just stupid when people jump on consoles first, when crytek clearly said they wanted to make the same experience on all platforms as well as CHEAP PCs. so you can not say consoles without the mention of cheap PCs. I dont like what crytek did nor do i support them in there decision.

i believe that if i spend $1000+ on a PC i should have the ability to play all my games better than someone with a cheaper PC/console.

Consoles hold all of pc gaming back not just crysis 2 or the random ports here and there. but in what devolpers can do what kind of experiance they cant create. Photo realistic games think about...but insted....we get graphics from games that are built to run on hardware from 2006. THE NEXT STEP IN THE EVOLUTION OF GAMING IS KNOCKING ON THE DOOR AND NO ONES WANTS TO ANSWER THE DOOR BECAUSE THE CONSOLES CANT KEEP UP. I dunno how you could consoles dont hold back the PC when clearly they do.

yes consoles are one of the main contributers to the hold up. but in cryteks case so are the cheap PCs that are equal to that of a console in terms of specs. again they wanted to make the game an equal experience, and i think its a load of bunk.

i tweaked my post a little bit towards the end and i believe equality of the platforms and weaker PCs screwed what could have been a WAY better experience.

also i can not make this claim with all developers, just crytek because that is what they said they wanted to do. some devs have no excuse. but consoles most certainly are not the ONLY hold up. look at Metro 2033, yes it does have its bugs but the PC version is WAYYYY BETTER than the xbox one.

hmmm well its says its because metro dosent support the catalyst 9.10 drivers...which makes no sense....since theve updated there drivers...

I would give it a 8 out of 10 in terms of my experience with the game.

i have only played through the game once and that was when i had my gtx470. and i enjoyed it, but it had a number of bugs.

i only got to play up till you go outside an theres that weird winged mutaed thing. i think the story thus far was great. just wish i could have finished but the broken gas mask **** made it unplayable. however i thinks that a bug im suffering from. i think its got a great story gameplay is so/so nothin new but good and fun. looks great. 8 outta 10. but i havent got to finish might have to reinstall now....while i wait for the dx 11 patch lol

I don't think you can blame consoles but rather devs who choose to be lazy about porting games. Ps3 gets screwed wiadth a lot for multiplats too. Plus Ms screws other platforms for dlc as they pay for timed exclusives. Anyway a gaming PC and ps3 is the best gaming option IMO.

What you and the rest of folks fail to realise is that the attitude of PC gamers are the detriment of PC gaming. Its easy to overlook in the midst of all the consistent and borderline childish whining. What makes it even worse is the idea that PC gamers are some how smarter or better than folks who play console games. Some PC gamers (the loud ones especially) are way to caught up in the specs than the execution to the point that every game that is released is blasted for a lot of trivial things that really don't make the game experience better. This attitude coupled with the boastful pirates who are so elite are the reason that developers don't give a s*** about PC gaming. Why waste time on PC games when they would just whine in the end? Why waste time on PC games when the ones who are so smart and elite are the first to pirate? But hey, you all can continue to blame console gaming for the demise of PC gaming. I will just sit on the side lines while you all continue to destroy it.

Whats with the superiority complex? I don't care whether you are PC gamer, Console lover or anything. Okay it wasn't a lie but it was a severe exaggeration of the truth you were stating. Not all "l33t" PC enthusiasts torrent everything. I'm certainly not one of them. Seems to me that you're putting all PC gamers in one category, which isn't very good to do in an argument.

I have perspective sir. I've play plenty of both the PS3 and Xbox. I've played consoles for countless hours and PC's aswell and it is my verdict that PC gaming is just that much ahead.

Oh and by the way. PC gamers are better than Console gamers... Fact. But consoles are ruining this for us.
