The Future of the Creation Kit

This made me so excited, it opens up Tamriel and adds great potential to be able to add life. It looks like everything is there but NPC, vegetation and structures. Just watch the video here.

That looks like LoD terrain, not actual terrain, which isn't as useful as it may seem. Even if it is actually there, vegetation and structures alone for any mod is a monumental effort. That's before you start talking about NPC's, quests, etc. With every new game there are tons of ambitious projects announced. Tons. I'd wager every one in fifty have anything to show for the mod in a few months time, and one in five hundred ever reach alpha stage.

Yeah, they probably exist so you can have a glimpse of them at the top of High Hrothgar.

At any rate I think it would be easier to focus on 1 province at a time rather than rebuilding the entirety of Tamriel in one shot. I'd like to see Cyrodiil done first, but just getting vegetation and buildings in place will take months, not including NPCs, quests, and everything else. One province alone will take over a year to get into a playable state and I imagine a couple years to be up to the standards of Skyrim.

I'd like to see people focus on overhauling and improving Skyrim first before jumping into the big stuff...
