Well after a week or so exploring Solstheim yesterday I finally started the DB MQ only for it to come to halt today after trying to finish this quest, after Storn reads the book he just floats there forever with no way for me to interact with him or anyone else in Skaal.

I did read a bit on the UESP that this is probably due to Frea not being there but I honestly can't remember her dying at all so I just presume that she's vanished and left me with the dreadful option to do everything in DB all over again unless someone knows of a work around.
