The Goodie Two-Shoes, Guilt-Free Kill Grelod Contest

Post » Sun Dec 02, 2012 11:34 am

So how do Goodie Two-Shoes characters get to destroy the DB while keeping their conscious clean? You do, after all, have to MURDER someone to get to the point where you can wipe out the assassins.

So I have been playing around with ideas on how to most creatively off Grelod without it being "murder."

My first thought was to throw a tomato at her. I mean, its just a tomato right? Who could have known a tomato could have killed her? But, I suppose a jury might see otherwise.

I have also seen someone suggest throwing a coin at her and claiming it was a donation to the orphanage, though I am not sure if there are any loose coins laying about there.

My latest assassination, though, I feel was my most creative: I threw a flower at her. What could be a more friendly gesture than throwing a flower at someone? Brides do it at every wedding!

Enter your ideas below on how to off Grelod without committing any crimes and in a way that could be passed off as not being "murder."

Just do nothing. Sooner or later, the rumors about Aventus will reach the right pair of ears. To see what happens next, click the link in my siggy.

My character recieved a letter from the Jarl telling her she should consider adopting. Thought it was a good idea so she walked into HonorHall just in time to hear the ol hag yelling at the kids. My character asked if she could adopt a child and was told "NEVER"!

in anger at the treatment of the children and the refusal to allow her to adopt even with a letter from the Jarl, my character slapped Grelod who instantly died. Oops.

The kids as they chanted about some boy in Windhelm caused curiousity to rise in my character's heart so she went to Windhelm for the ftrst time and found the lad. That completed the opening into the DB stuff. My character was then allowed to adopt from honor hall which she did. And she was promptly kidnapped in the night on the first eve she spent in Windstad manor with her husband and new daughter.

Wrong move Astrid... Salessi killed her and destroyed the rest of the brotherhood for bothering in her affairs.

Walk inside, drop some daggers, cast Frenzy and find a dark corner to sit in to enjoy the show.

Or do what my Imperial did: as a Legate in the Imperial army, he had the right to impose battlefield justice, without a trial (just like that captain who sent him to the block at helgen). Grelod was unquestionably guilty of assault and battery, unlawful imprisonment, child neglect, and 11 other gross violations of Imperial law and Skyrim tradition. She was sentenced to summary execution. Rather than bother with summoning the headsman, Tiberius used his battle-axe to carry out the sentence himself. Totally legal.

While I am sure you can be entertained by this (i did it as part of my experimenting) I am afraid this doesn't count as frenzy counts as an assault. You would need to come up with some rationale for why you cast a frenzy spell.
