The Google Earth Thread

I've had the idea of starting a Google Earth thread for a while now.
It's one of my long standing favorite and useful tools on the internet and I'm sure others feel the same way.
This could be a place to post GPS co-ordinates to interesting and exotic or not so exotic places scattered throughout the world.
Place of interest; places you've visited or would like to visit. Historical sites. Unusual land forms. The Wonders of the Real World.

If you don't have Google Earth already it can be downloaded here:

http://www.google.com/earth/index.html

All you have to do is center in on your location in Google Earth and go to Edit menu and "Copy View Location" and paste the co-ordinates into your post with a brief description of what it is.
Others would copy and paste those co-ordinates in the GE search window. Some times, the co-ordinate is found and presented close to the ground so you have to scroll out if it's a larger area of interest.

Velorien posted a really interesting YouTube video a while back of Machu Picchu. I found that very interesting and looked it up:
13°09'48.24" S 72°32'45.24" W

Idaho farming (potatoes anyone?):
42°44'59.53" N 114°37'32.38" W

Lop Nor, Xinjiang....The worlds largest potassium sulfate production site (measure this thing with the ruler under "Tools" to give an idea of area):
40°24'13.94" N 90°48'02.10" E

Windmills on the Lake Superior coast of Ontario Canada (these are visible across the bay in Michigan):
46°36'02.37" N 84°29'55.80" W

Also places where you can go into street view can be interesting.

I give you the Big Tire on I-94 in Detroit:
42°22'49.55" N 82°57'25.64" W

...and the building that was used in a scene by Clint Eastwood in "Gran Torino":
42°22'49.56" N 82°57'25.66" W

Also links to screenshots in Street View of unusual or interesting sites is another idea.

Surely there are more exotic places in the world and that is what this thread is for.
Please observe all forum rules.
In addition, be considerate of privacy issues; that of yourself and others. For instance, if you know where a prominent game developer lives, that might not be necessary information to share.
And if anybody wanted to actually find Bethesda HQ, it wouldn't be too hard, so that might not be a necessary GPS location to consider posting either for that matter.
Use common sense. There are many who would never dream of posting where they live, others may not care. Personally however, I think that posting your general neighborhood may be an
interesting thing if you're inclined to do that...but again...use common sense.

So where are your favorite interesting places?
