I've literally mashed A on the guards. Still, just their amazing knee injury. I kinda need some help with this. Or, at least the map location of dawnguard fort. I'm level 16

If you downloaded Dawnguard from the add-ons section of the game you need to restart the game for it to take effect.

Did it take a minute to "load add-ons" before you selected your load save? and the entrance is just north east of Riften, it is called the Dayspring cave I believe, kinda at the foot of a large hill/rock slope

Go to the Hall of the Stendarr and there is a path that leads from there.
