The Hall of the Vigilant Has Seen Better Days

Since installing Dawnguard, has anyone been to The Hall of the Vigilant? If not, take a look at it now, you're in for a surprise...

I wonder what would happen if you had a save in there before installing Dawnguard. Probably not something good.

Massive improvement.

Though I had never been there before the DLC, had no idea they were congregating there.

I want to know where the Keeper's body is. Your told she fell in battle there, but yet her corpse isn't among the slain.

Before the DLC came out, I always walked by the Hall, actually quite a lot. When the orc came up to me in Riverwood and told me about the Dawnguard and when I talked to him again, he mentioned what happened to the Hall. So, of course I wanted to see it. I was quite surprised.

Maybe she was in the basemant that disappeared.

LOL!

You can always pretend she's hiding in the basemant plotting revenge and the door has been concealed with an illusion spell.

Hah! I knew I wasn't crazy!

I spent about an hour standing in there looking around thinking "I know there was a basemant... wasn't there?"

I was convinced that the keeper had to be alive (no body) and was in that basemant if I could just find it.

Ah well, real tragedy if you ask me... poor ol' Vigil, never even got a questline to call their own. :(

I was kind of sad they killed them off, I was saving them for my vampire lord to massacre. Thats how they should of started the vampire side, you hear about vampires moving against the vigilants and you wish to lend a hand.

I agree. I was saving them for that sole purpose. I would have killed them weeks ago if I had known they w er going to die... Funny thing is, if I did do that, I would have been a vampire. Lol.

I also found a cave full of them. But they were all "charmed", and working for the vampires. So maybe they weren't killed...well, until I went through that cave anyway.

Back when my character was a werewolf, I would always pick on them. They were the only thing he could kill. :(

Nothing would probably happen to the Hall of the Vigilant if you saved in there until you left the cell.

I like the Hall's new look.

My Vampires had been wanting to redecorate for quite a while now, I'm just glad some of my brethren were able to do it so quickly...

Poor Vigilants. I don't know why so many people dislike them.

They're just trying to help others.

I normally trash it anyway when I find it I smash their skulls feed their souls to molag bal's mace and offer them up to him aaah good times. Shame you can only do it once since they only have 1 hall. :(

Go visit Stendaar's Beacon...

They could use some love from Molag's favored Champion!

Oh there is another location where they gather together? I will go check it out and break them! It seems that molag bal will be getting new residents in his realm today! :bunny:

Check the small mountain S/SE of Riften. The Beacon is at the top.
