The Katariah as Player Housing

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:28 pm

I read here..... http://uk.gamespot.com/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/forum/i-think-the-katariah-can-possibly-be-an-un-official-house-61944933/ . That you can use the Katriah as player housing. Can anyone confirm this? Oh and it has safe containers. UESP information: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:The_Katariah .Thanks.

This post might be better for the spoiler section, but you should put iron arrows or some other junk in all the containers and go away for roughly 6 in-game months to be safe. If they're still there, it's safe to use.

How do I move the topic to the spoiler section.

It gets moved by a Moderator if you request.

Also is it true?

Not magically though. Hit the little "Report" button underneath your avatar, then write them a short message saying to move it.

Welcome to Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers throbz! As to living on the Kat.... I didn't know it was a possibility. Might have to play the DB quest line just to find out, because that would be SO cool!

Only problem would be that the guard on the deck of the ship always respawns. I gues you could call him target practice.

It works I have tested it out. The only downside is not being able to sleep in the emperors bed, but there is the second best bedroom which im using instead. The Captain's room. Oh and the best bit of all on the deck there is a THRONE!

I have tested it out and it works. The only downside is that you cant sleep in the emperors bed, but there are 22 other beds so its fine

And as an update. I am not to sure if the emperors quarters have safe storage. But the rest of the ship does.

Well, if I ever get around to doing it, I'll just console setownership on the bed.... And I wouldn't leave stuff there anyway - no crafting stations I assume.... so I'd have to have one of my other house mods for that anyway.

There is an anvil workbench and grindstone and a achemist station.

One does surely miss out on a rather exhaustive total of content if one chooses to destroy the Dark Brotherhood. I would have preferred an alternative story with the Vici marriage occurring without incident, and perhaps another reason for a visit from the Emperor.

Yeah, my lvl 81 character has been using that boat as a home for quite a while now. He's also prancing around in the emperor's robes.
