The Level Up Potion

Post » Sun May 06, 2012 9:41 pm

Just reinforcing my thoughts about meditation in order to level up is much better than going into the menu. If you increase your Health (for sure, not so sure about increasing Magicka or Stamina) after leveling up, you'll get your health back. So, if you level up in a dungeon, you could pretty much hold onto that point until you're in danger of dying, then use it and get all of your health back. Just saying.

Who cares? Health regenerates when you're out of combat. Plus you can use restoration or potions. It's your choice if you want to be cheap like that but I think gamesas will block that during combat. Besides, have you even played the game yet?

I thought your health was restored at the moment your character gained enough skills to level (and it pops up on the screen that you gain a level) not when you go to the menu and add the health/stam/mag points. Additionally aren't you required to add all the available health/stam/mag points before you can get to adding perks?

Or they disable the ability to level up while in combat.. As in greying out the "level up" button.. :spotted owl:

Nope, your health is maxed to the new HP max if that's your choice. Not sure how it works if you chose magicka or stamina.

It's your choice if you decide to cheat.

If you cheat and complain about, sorry you lack willpower.

The rest of us have no problem...

I remember in some preview, the guy kept doing that as a lame way to prevent himself from dying. Go ahead and play how you want to play, but I won't be levelling up until I make it to a secure location (town, city, house, etc.) just for the sake of RP purposes. ^_^

It'll probably be like Fallout 3, in that you can't level up in combat.
