My first character to start dawnguard was level 50+, and obtained the bow, battleaxe and mace from the keepers.

My second, was lower than 30 and didn't. Does anyone know the cut of point for the keepers dropping their weapons?

It's about (notice I say about ) Level 45. I've had a level 43, and a level 51 do it - the level 43 didn't get anything, the level 51 did.

i was planing on doin dawnguard when i hit 50 for maximum lvls of them,so thanks for the tip about the dragonbone weapons,now if i can only find the ghost horse....
