It's the Little things

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 10:18 am

Anybody else love the new little things like characters moving while they talk to you, or serana leaning against a wall or sitting down while you're idle? I personally love them as it gives you a bit better sense of immersion.

I've just met her:)
I came to Solitude along the way in order to smith. While I was improving armor, she decided to sharpen her blade:)

Is it just me or does anyone else get the urge to punch someone whenever they say "immersion"?

I love the little things they have added to skyrim, this isn't just a dlc it was an excuse to touch up and polish key locations, mainly the caves and dungeons you encounter through DGA, they have added details like mist and rain fall through the holes in the caves, and I don't know of this is new but i walked into a bar in falkreath and valga told me to take a seat by the fire and I'll send someone over, and what do you know a lovely lady wandered over and asked me if I wanted a drink.

She was thinking how she could sink her fangs into your neck and turn you without making you mad.

Serana must have A.D.D. or something. I'm having an important conversation with someone and she's smithing, making potions, enchanting, moving between leaning on walls and sitting on the floor every 2 seconds, etc. Even when I'm chopping wood she likes to stand on the block.

That word gets thrown around way too much. Unbelievably annoying.

Anyways, I love what Beth did with the Dwarven/falmer stuff. The new ruins from the DLC are amazing, and the female falmer, new falmer warmongers, new (and sooo much better) falmer heavy armor, along with the darven bolts on the Dwarven spheres, the flying insectoid chaurus and finally the new Spriggan type are really awesome.
It's really cool how all those things were integrated into the base game. Found some flying chaurus and Falmer Warmongers in Blackreach.

People moving while talking is great too.

new spriggan type? where!
You can find them at any place normal Spriggans spawn. Like those areas where there are alot of wildlife and and butterlys/mushrooms/flowers.
Theres a place like that near Riften, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Autumnshade_Clearing.
They look like Spriggan Matrons, but a dark purple color instead of orange. They're called Spriggan Earth Mothers.
They may be high level Spriggans, I'm level 67 and they are fairly common.
