The Midden Dark : V

Basically I'm in The Midden Dark under the College of Winterhold and there's this black hand with a symbol in the palm and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do with it. Also, it looks like there's a sacrificial area that I can put an item, but it tells me I do not have the item. Any ideas on how I can get the said item and/or black hand?

I've seen that as well -_-

I spent all of 15 minutes looking around the barren room with the Black Hand in the middle with the Oblivion mark on it's palm. Also, you can do stuff with the fingers on the gauntlet, but I have no idea what needs to be done/sacrificed.
