The milkdrinkers at rpgcodex forums have relegated Skyrim to the "Made for Console Popamole RPGs" section. They think TES, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Witcher and other modern games are not true RPGs like Fallout, PST and Baldur's Gate.

They're apparently the unofficial authority of which game is true RPG. Fallout 1 and Vampire Bloodlines.

Lolz. Somebody still takes RPG[censored]tex seriously. Wasn't their name censored here? I think there's a legal something going on between them and Bethesda.

Nothing illegal, they're just openly bashing Bethesda since Oblivion.

I can't take a person seriously who lists older RPGs as "true" ones at the expense of new, popular ones. I can't help but to think of an overly smug person who does the classification to show off his virtual [censored] because he was living in the "golden age" of games and all that [censored]. It is their Hummer to mock the popular and cling to some old remnant and claim superiority.
Indeed I hate the whole word "true" when it comes to anything man-made. It is one of the most abused words ever.
