The mistery of the sick and twisted maze house - theory

Post » Mon Jan 25, 2016 12:02 am

So i have a Theory on what happened in the sick and twisted "saw like" maze house oppositie of Milton general hospital!

Just across the street of the garage(maze house) there is am abandoned little village called the Fairline Hill Estates. When i approached it curie kept asking me "where are all the people". So i checken every building, picked up some loot and coins killed a couple of those mutated bears that were lurking around untill i got to a building that was locked from the inside... I found a way to get on to the roof and Get acces to the building.. I found something odd inside. There were guns, ammo of all sorts a sleeping bag and a skeleton on the first Floor. Then i openen a door and some very powerfull ghouls charged at me, so i killed them.

Then i went downstairs and noticed the main door to the house was chained and booby trapped. The person or people in that house were trying to keep someone or something out... So, kind of creepy...

I think the dead bodies in the maze house and missing villagers are linked, i think they were abducted by someone or a maybe a group of people since they had some serious fire power in that last house.

Any thoughts on this? Has anybody else checked out this village and the maze house?

I realized there could be a link because i heard some explosions when i was in the village, when i went to check it out i noticed it was an explosion on the top of the maze house set off by ghouls

Edit: so i've been searching for clues and sometimes when i enter the area i hear somekind of scary and very loud "horror noise" i don't know how to describe it but i scared the crap out of me a couple of times now....

nothing to add other than, i feel the same way. i was there and wandered around a little. found some stuff, noted the place on my "cheat sheet" to return to later. i got a few places on my cheat sheet that made no sense to me, so i figure i am missing some info as far as plot info goes. i am playing 2 games at once, and sometimes i get a clue in one game, that helps tie up a loose end, or a strange place, like maze place, in the other.

I kept wandering the area and also found an owned trailer that wasn't located on the map, though the owner was no where to be found so i will be returning there.. I am now Searching the jewelry safe in fallon's to see if i can find the woman but can't find the jewel departement ??

Though it's fun to hear i am not the only one who made this link! I like these fallout mysteries ????

In the bottom floor.

I think it's just a reference to the Saw movies.

Thanks... Lol

But i do think they made it for a reason, but at least with a little story, like most things in the game have a reason or story behind it

A woman named Elanor lives there, she sells all kinds of stuff, actually has a decent inventory. I think I came across her previously to finding the trailer as one of the dialog options was already "greyed" out. Plus there is a note inside the trailer addressed to my character.

As for the estates, kind of reminds me of Tranquility Lane from FO3. I came across it some time ago. I just think that had a family that survived the war and they were scared of "whats out there" so the door was barricaded and they equipped themselves with weapons to defend themselves. Someone who lived there must have been a truck driver so possibly had access to equipment. Obviously had a way out and there is a irradiated dumping ground nearby possibly turning some of the family members to ghouls or could have just been from the war. The dad couldn't bring it upon himself to kill his family so he locked them in the only room available. Then judging by his body and the gun near it, took his own life.

Interesting... Possible... But why would only one of them survive? And where are the remains of the other people living in the village?

He may have not ventured out, maybe stayed back to protect the home, or possible if he was a truck driver was not there when the bombs fell. They would have had to gone out for food and water. The other folks at the time could have possibly left to try and get to Vault 81. Though there is evidence of post-war inhabitants they could have been offed by the Yao Gui that are around or just fled the area when they or the Mutants moved to the area. There also is an unmarked military station nearby that has a sentry bot and some protectrons in it. They may be enough to scare off any would be "settlers".
