So, I was very inspired by Fhynrood's idea of forming a player guild surrounding Great House Redoran. The Morag Tong have always been my absolute favorite faction in any TES game and the lore surrounding them just before the interregnum is very interesting indeed, and a great setup for a guild.
I have made a guild section for the guild over at TESOF, which seems to be one of the main hubs for ESO guilds: http://www.tesof.com/topic-the-morag-tong
There's no website yet, but we'll likely set one up via Enjin in the next few weeks.
If you're planning on being a Dunmer (for now we will be Dunmer-only, but might expand to Nords and Argonians in the future) and have always wanted to be a part of the Tong, feel free to put in a pre-launch app at that TESOF link or you can do so in this thread as well.
Some basic guidelines:
- Heavy RP guild
- Associated with the Ebonheart pact
- 16+
- Dunmer-only (for now)
- US, EU, AUS and everything in between acceptable
Here is the info from the TESOF post:

OVERVIEW
This guild will be the player representation for the Morag Tong. There is no information as of yet whether the Morag Tong even shows up in The Elder Scrolls Online, however, we will account for any eventuality of an NPC version of the faction.
IF the Morag Tong exists as a joinable NPC guild in ESO, the player-made guild will act as an extension of the Morag Tong. The player guild leader will not be considered the grandmaster of the guild, and will likely retain the rank of "Master" or "Exaulted Master" and will be in charge of giving contracts to the rest of the guild. Players in the guild will be required to join the NPC faction.
IF the Morag Tong exists as an enemy faction in ESO, and is to be attacked/killed by players, members of the guild will be permitted to do just that, under the guise of infiltrating the Ebonheart Pact's ranks, and regaining favor in the eyes of the Tribunal.
GUIDELINES
Players will be permitted to join the Dark Brotherhood (known to be a bastardized off-shoot of the Morag Tong) with the role-play justified intention of infiltrating and undermining the Dark Brotherhood.
At first, due to the lore of the Morag Tong at the time of ESO, the guild will only accept Dunmer characters as members. Eventually other races will be accepted but will likely not be able to attain higher ranks in the organization. Any class will be permitted, although classes that lean towards assassination-type combat will be favored.
The guild will be heavily role-play oriented, and role-play events will be coordinated within the guild by the leadership. Writs of assassination will be given to members. There will also be serious restrictions on meta-gaming elements often found in MMOGs.
Guild-members will be permitted to participate in all facets of the game from PvE to PvP. The Morag Tong's purpose is to rebuild itself and become a legally sanctioned guild of assassins, working directly for the Tribunal.
Guild-members will be tested on their knowledge of the Morag Tong and the other lore that surrounds it at certain stages of advancement (see ranking system).
If Guild-members are part of other player guilds, they will be restricted in terms of ranking up in the guild.
GOALS
[1] - Provide and fun and immersive role-play guild steeped in Elder Scrolls lore.
[2] - Allow for both casual and hardcoe players to thrive in the game under the Morag Tong's banner.

[4] - Participate in inter-guild politics (RP-only).
[5] - Assist the Ebonheart pact and the Tribunal to cement its reign in the white-gold tower (PvP).
[6] - Take on the task of beating back the Daedric forces of Molag Bal and the encroachment of Coldharbour (Raiding/PvE)

LORE
During the interregnum, the time in which the Elder Scrolls Online takes place, the Morag Tong has been driven underground and outlawed in most parts of Tamriel. It will be our sworn duty to rekindle the former glory of the guild.
From the UESP:
Now, brothers and sisters, it is time for us to take back our rightful place, as the Tribunal's shadow. In this time of war, and greed, we shall seek to serve the Tribunal, and by extension, the Ebonheart Pact, in any capacity necessary, in order to solidify our standing in Morrowind as the deadly hand of Mephala.
We have been cast out, betrayed and shunned, all because of our predecessors' arrogance and foolishness...
Make no mistake, the Morag Tong shall rise again and Mephala's glory shall spill blood once more across Tamriel!

"The Morag Tong (or Morang Tong) is an ancient guild of assassins headquartered in Morrowind, celebrating murder in the name of Mephala. They have been active since at least the First Era, and their targets have included multiple rulers of Tamriel, high-ranking Dunmer nobility, and countless others. The Morag Tong is unique in its sanctioned status under the Morrowind government to perform legal executions, bound under contracts called 'writs', although extralegal 'gray writs' are rumored to exist."

From the UESP:
"The origins of the Morag Tong are shrouded in myth. The orthodoxy of the Tribunal hold that the Daedra Mephala founded the guild to teach the early Chimer how to defend themselves and destroy their adversaries. Others state it began as a cult which, while also following Mephala, ultimately revered the 'Dread Father' Sithis above all. However it began, the guild quickly rose to prominence in the environment of early Morrowind's bloody House conflicts, quickly establishing the writ system and a reputation as peerless killers.
At the end of the First Era, the Tong received its highest-profile contract to date, on Emperor Reman III. Their success paved the way for the Akaviri Potentate to rule over Tamriel in the early parts of the Second Era, as the Tong slowly expanded its presence across Tamriel. It came full-circle when, in 2E 324, Versidue-Shaie, the Potentate who had originally ordered Reman III killed, was assassinated himself by the Tong. By this point, however, the guild was over-confident and prideful, and 'MORAG TONG' was scrawled on the palace walls in the Potentate's own blood.
This high-profile assassination started a frenzy among the nobles of Tamriel who realized that they too were at risk from the Tong. "Every sovereign gave the cult's elimination his highest priority", and it was viciously suppressed in every province of the Empire, only retaining the barest presence in its homeland of Morrowind. After this, the Morag Tong sunk out of public sight for almost a century. It is during this time that most agree the Dark Brotherhood arose as a splinter group, establishing itself mostly outside of Morrowind as a more business-oriented guild operating entirely beyond the law."
