The most random glitch ever. of all time : Fallout: New Vegas

so i go to helios one and go to where the solar panes are from the back of the building, so as soon as i go through the door, the old lady from the scrap yard and all her dogs spawned and attacked me. they all died.

Happened to me too. Mole rats, her dogs , and OLG. Not sure why they all spawn on the spot but I was pissed I had recently given her a bunch of caps that I wanted back:(

Wow.. that's a weird one.. did you guys go back to a previous save.. try visiting the lady and then going back to helios? I've found that if I hit a weird glitch that going back to a previous save and then visiting the "glitch" in a different way usually undoes the glitch.

yep,i've had the same experience,almost gimme a heart attack it was so unexpected!,it was fine when i'd reloaded the save taken just before i walked out the door though.

Yeah I got this one, I thought they were NCR dogs until I realised they had names, I didn't kill the auld biddy though, I guess Boone put a round through her crotched bobble hat when I wasn't looking. That said I just reloaded the autosave made after exiting Helios One and it didn't happen a second time, strange.

Happened to me and i thought she was after me for stealing her locker stuff

Best thing was i played on and about an hour later when i was checking Boones gear i found out he had actually taken her cool shotgun after killing her, i think he knew what he was doing

i had the same thing happen to me, i just killed the dogs, didnt see the old lady. but i kept on goin with the game with no problems except for the lag

So that's who that was, it scared the absolute bejesus out of me!lol! I've been paranoid about going out of that back door since then!

It also happened to me but the game autosaved when I left the building so when I loaded the autosave they were not there that time. It was weird but it only happened once and was an easy fix. I remember stuff like that happening all the time in FO 3.

When this happened to me, they were all invisible, and walking forward from the door felt and sounded like I was walking through a large pile of random objects, all of which were also invisible.

It was wacky!

Yep, got that one too when stepping out the back door. I reloaded because I actually like her as a convenient vendor and repairwoman. I've had another glitch with her, twice, which is random and hilarious-- she gets up from her seat outside her home, takes a step or two, screams "Whoa!" and falls completely through the ground. :wacko:
