I find this game rather addictive... got to the rank of Cult Leader before getting overrun.Any chance of a downloadable version?

I realy enjoyed this flash card game. I made it up to cult leader before I finaly lost a match. I would definately get into Necronomicon if it were an actual card game. I have been a avid fan of card games of all kinds ever since I started playing magic the gathering back in 1992. I have played quite a few different card games since then and Necronomicon(Flash) is by far one of the funnest I have played yet. It's mechanics remind me of RAGE and Shadowrun alittle bit. Both of the forementioned games are card games that I still play to this day.

There is in fact, a Cthulhu CCG and it's called Call of Cthulhu Collectible Card Game, unsurprisingly. The problem, at least here in Finland, is finding players. I've had my cards lying around the shelf for over a year now, without a single game played.I suppose I could make up rules for solitaire play... <_<

Wow, that was surprisingly fun! I'm not normally one for card games (I had my share of pokemon in primary school... *shudder*) but this was great, since all the cool cards made it feel a little insane. (My favourite card has to be the "Mad Experiment" one, btw.) I got up to Necromancer level. Then I went insane and became a megalomaniac - and I didn't get a single card with a red-splodge arcane boost. <_< I was beating down the taint with Elder Things and all sorts, must have got about 45 arcane points by the end, and no way to use 'em.

Gald you all like the game, I'm thinking of ways to improve it, and got lots of good feedback on the newgrounds site. The art I used on the cards is from the Call of Cthulhu CCG.I never bought a single card from that game though I was tempted to many times. They are too expensive in the end, and it's very hard (sometimes impossible) to find someone who can play regularly.I played Magic the Gathering for years, so learnt my lesson from that. Though having said that, I do have a few grands worth of cards :-)

So its not just me that has a hard (impossible) time finding players for CCG's. I don't know if i should feel better or worse.

My game has hit a bit of a snag - basically even though its free, Fantasy Flight Games said I have to remove the art.So I now must create, or have people contribute art for the cards. Any takers? :)

unfortunately my art skills aren't really up for a task like this, but I wish you luck with it. started playing the game yesterday and it's incredibly addictive, I'm at rank 16 nowit might be worth doing a google image search for lovecraftian art and contacting a few of the owners of sites hosting it to ask for permission to use italso I've found a bug where http://www.murlocs.co.uk/necronomicon.jpg seems to happen every time the computer plays the Dawn Of A New Day card

So do you tell people what they need to draw or do they just send it in and you put it wherever you need it?

This is such a fun little game (despite the fact that I svck at it  ). Anyway, I was just wondering if there was a download of it somewhere to play offline seeing as I don't have regular access to the net lately? Also, are there more cards, or is this all of them?

I'll have a download version for yas in a few hours - I just need to update it with my latest fix (card dealing code has been completely changed - Basically what happens now in the fix is that you both have your OWN deck of whatever amount of cards are unlocked, and each card will be seen once by each of you. There will be no duplicate cards appearing until your deck has been exhausted and shuffled, and so the only dups you will see are the cards you held from the previous shuffle. Makes everything much more balanced.
