Anyone find the avatars on the right side to see who has posted last annoying? I'd prefer just the name. First forum I've been on which uses avatars for that.

I like it. I usually identify people by their avatars anyway.

I might be late to the party but it appears to me that join date has made a welcome appearence on our side panels!!

Hooray for an awesome admin team who have clearly been listening to our points of view and have fixed so many issues that people have had with the changes.
Kudos ^_^

The more I play around with it, the more I love the new format. I don't know why, something about the last skin just didn't give me the old BGSF vibe that kept me coming back and my posts started dropping off. This new one is nice and crisp, I like it a lot.

Now that most of the issues have been ironed out, I must admit, the change isn't that bad.

Since you did respond to most of the complaints about Join Date and Who's Viewing, and the fact that the Issues with New Update pinned topic has gone down, I'll just ask one more time and hopefully I can get a response; Any chance we could get our notes section back in the Profile Editing menu?

I'm glad this is back.

One thing, oddly enough, is bothering me. People are able to post too frequently and it's causing all sorts of double posts. It's actually quite annoying.

Yes! Thank you guys for bringing back the "joined date". Who ever is listening to our feedback I thank you for listening. You guys are giving Bethesda a good reputation despite Beth being silent to our queries as 0f late. The fact that you guys are interested in what we say is making this new UI beautiful.

I'm liking it too!

Thanks for bringing back how many users are reading the topic and join dates!

Would be nice to scroll a simple forum without it lagging the hell out of the browser like it was some 18,000 x 18,000 resolution image behind it. The forums feel like MySpace on a Pentium II machine. And I'm running a Core 2 Duo.

I missed all the issues, well, the ones that'd bother me. About the only thing that's slightly annoying is what the above poster mentioned - the scroll lag on the Warrior skin. Although I had it much worse on the old version, even after switching to the IP Board skin. I'm still using that, now, just in case.
Now to fix my avatar from the last time. I haven't been here for a while :)

For the record, I'm not getting any lag at all. I've a Quad core pc, btw.

Well, if they had done it whiter then it will create eye strain. I understand their logic on this point. Btw, for the creators of this new UI, why is there a wide empty space on the left again? Perhaps you guys are testing something because there are other "errors" like a grey line that darts across the avatar from left to right. Anyways, thanks again for listening to user feedback.

Awful. Truly awful. Who cares about the the look if it doesn't function properly?

Let me give you some friendly advice - When you upgrade, it means it's supposed to be an improvment, not a backwards step. We go from good functional forums to this absolute travesty. I've seen it in another forum as well. Technology can be so tragic.

What about it isn't functioning properly? Maybe if you're more specific they can fix it.

Edit: To business - I'm happy with this change. Thank you so much for IGNORE MEMBER'S SIGNATURE options! Finally, no more huge font self quotes that mean nothing! Luckily, there aren't huge image signatures here.

You could have sigs disabled anyway, even on the old one. I've never had sigs enabled, they're too annoying.

I'm pretty sure they know what these glaring problems are by now. I just wanted to have a moan.

Looking better so far, now that the "Join Date" has been re added and the "Online Bar" at the bottom is also back I'm liking the new format.

Good to see someone is listening to the feedback

This skin just svcks. Its hard to read. Where are the other skin options? Even better where is the old one? I'm not using the default IP because that is too bright.

Things have improved enormously over the past 24 hours. Fair play to Beth for giving a crap! I still miss the tan theme though.

Oh, Exo, that last link you gave me didn't do anything. :(

I just noticed that when we copy a post it also copies the links, text sizes, etc. This is nice for copying first posts for repeat threads, since the Quote button disappears when a thread is locked.

Only problem is that quotes, spoilers and some other formatting things don't get copied over correctly. So it would be nice if we could still quote posts in locked threads, and then simply use 'add reply' in another thread to get all the info, so that it can be copy-pasted into a new thread without any problems. That's how it used to work, too.

You can highlight the formatted text and press the eraser button situated just above the italics one to change it to the normal format.
