Do the NPC's with you?

Post » Mon Feb 11, 2013 1:13 pm

I have a level 42 ranger/rogue type I'd like to bring into DB. But I'm concerned he might be too high level. With Dawnguard, level 30 was too high. Even on expert setting it was easy peasy (well most of it. A few battles were nightmares. ).

So do the mobs level with you?

Your omission of 'level' makes the thread sound like an awful prepositon...

But I found a significant challenge (cracking up here) with my level 31 Dunmer spellsword - lots of high level enemies.

Yeah I just noticed that. I gotta stop typing so fast. ;)

Sorry all for the missing "level". I can't find a way to correct the subject?

Most spawned NPCs do level with you..... That's why you face tougher Bandits at higher levels.

Friendly NPCs (like those you can have as Companions) will level with you up to a point. Usually arounf level 30.
Check the wikis to see the level cap for them.

I found Dragonborn to be very challenging at first. But I started it with lvl 24 character and I left everything I had on Skyrim so when I arrived on Solstheim I had only boots, blacksmiths apron, iron sword and 20 septims with me.
Spoiler
And my first thing to do on there was to rent a room in Inn and to sleep over the night.
Spoiler
Those who have done same thing knows that it will throw you into middle of the adventure to start the mainquest.
