Am I the only one who believes that Crysis 2 Multiplayer is AWESOME? If Not, please post to this thread in order to show Crytek that we are proud of what they are developing!

The site above is the perfect place for crysis 2 fans to see many multiplayer gameplays, not only from Xbox as we have seen so far but also from PC... The multiplayer features are awesome (and it is not so bad that Crysis 2 and Modern Warfare 2 have a few things in common) and the graphics are extremely good! I think we must be very proud with what Crytek is developing for us...

No your not the only one. I thought it was really good and it was mostly wat i hoped it would be other than killstreaks and 6v6 but i guess that could be changed if we had dedi's.

I think the multiplayer needs some improvements in the next months. It has a good foundation, but it needs working on if it will reach my satisfaction. The 6on6 and killstreaks svcks and should be changed.

Player may only think that it will svck because it appears to have features from other games (cough* MW2) and that it will lose the style of the first game.

Some features will be interesting and nobody can say that it will be bad until they play it

AWESOME is an understatement, allot of people are criticizing it in regards to youtube videos, not having played it themselves as a final product.

i think it will rock all the other FPS coming out !

Could it be?! :O Crytek is finally taking the MP aspect seriously?! O_o How did this happen? :P

But anyway, yes, I like this. I really do. I would definitely play this and see myself playing it for months from there after. That's a first for Crysis, for me.

It would be a disaster to only support 6v6 as it isn't even half of what crysis wars can. If there ares some differences you can make for the pc version than the consoles the PLEASE DO IT!

How can anyone not think it looks awesome! And with more special abilities like the ground stomp they showed off, i think it could make for a really unique and diverse Mp package.

On a side note, I'm a little uncertain how C2 will do with the competitive community without lean or prone. Can it be optional or can we mod it in?

only thing I see wrong is the limit on players, other than that it looks fine to me (although instead of kill streaks, I would have liked to been able to buy whatever bonus I wanted (so I could buy radar even if I had enough kills to get the alien gunship etc.))
*everyone complaining about the small number of players*
6vs6 is enough. COULD be more, yes. but halo 3 teamslayer is 4vs4 (!) and most maps there are much bigger than the rooftops from the gamescom demo, and halo 3 teamslayer is a LOT of fun.
in comparison the 12vs12 or something in Bad Company never felt like more because that game has even bigger maps (i dont even mean conquest mode here, in conquest the gameplay is completely broken on several maps cause you just feel lost and alone ;-D )

overall i gotta say im pleased with the first map and the showcased graphics, however i'd feel weird judging gameplay seeing as they presented the elements in a staged way. no way to know if things really work out with the balancing, hitboxes, the progression system with upgrades, loads of stuff that can be gamebreaking when disfunctional. but if the xbox version really has that quality of motion blur and level of detail in the environment then im reall impressed. im talking about the xbox version because of the PC version i've only seen camcorder footage.

Wait, so the max for multiplayer is 6v6? are they not going to have anymore "Power Struggle" type maps anymore? It was less team based, but it offered something different which was nice

I believe crysis 2 is awesome too but i think cryteks dicision by coping mw2 wasnt the best idea. They threw away lots of crysis 1 stuff that we loved such as lazer, enormous maps, vehicles and 32 players playing in a single map.I hope crytek will rethink about putting them in crysis 2 so crysis 1 fans will be satιsfied

Looks a lot like MW2, wich could either mean great gameplay
or rediculous unbalance. Is that "ship killstreak thing"
going to suppress people, or annoyingly pick them off at will?

Hopefully.... DEFINITELY... better than MW2, which was totally overrated.

for me that is the 60 dollar question right now, if they can pull of killstreaks right then MP could be great.

"Quality takes time", or something along those lines :)

Good to see that the difficult-to-please can still be pleased from time to time.

Like many others, i'm concerned about the 6v6 limit at present but i'm hoping that number is increased as time, optimisation and development progresses on.

Other than that, from what i've seen, i'm dead-set frothing at the mouth for this game!!! :D

I dont see the V number neing a really big problem, Over time I have seen the larger V's being turned into total carnage and mayhem, Smaller numbers such as we see here 6V6, lead to more teamwork, and lessoverall cheating of any kind.

It's so easy to miss things like cheat's camping and the like, in larger V fights, and also to loose out on teamwork, you would have to go back to the great war's to find a time where soldiers were just thrown at the enemy.

Of course thats only my opinion, i think smaller numbers have a more Elite feeling to them, and its a modern way of thinking, I hate the way some guys seem to think it dont matter if iget killed as i respawn, then they just go mental in the battle, one respawn after another.

Not much skill involved in that even if you do take a few enemy down with you, far better to stay in battle and keep killing.
Max 12V12 would be cool enough, 6V6 is fine.

Some people will say I'm wrong on bigger V's we work in teams and it works great each team doing what it should, But to that I say, Not from what I have seen. :-)
