So. I've recently beaten Dawguard, as I'm sure most of you have, and I've stumbled upon the gem paragons. Interesting and beautiful items, they are. But I've been wondering: why not a Garnet Paragon? Yes, I am aware that there are only five, garnet not included. But why not? I must say I am a gem-nut and feel that without the sixth gem, the collection seems... rather incomplete. Disappointing, really. So I have the five - amethyst, ruby, sapphire, emerald and diamond - but feel rather lacking. Does anyone else share my feelings towards this subject? Also, but more unlikely, any thoughts of adding a Garnet Paragon in the future (mod or official)?

Also, quick opinion, I do rather enjoy the Sapphire Paragon. So pretty.

I only found the amethyst paragon. I've yet to find the others.

On the subject of the helmet for the Ancient Falmer armor, you can acquire the Ancient Falmer Crown through console commands. However, it was simply not accessible otherwise, as I'm sure that's what you meant.

Which of course begs the question of why they didnt just include the helmet in the final build of dg. I digress though....

It's doubtful that all the items needed to complete these sets of different things will be added into the add-on, but there is little we can do.

you're actually supposed to use the gems for something- they open up other portals in the vale. Apparently they just wanted/needed 5 doors.

I modded the crown into my game, and just the way it's positioned makes it clip through so many things. That's probably why it wasn't included. It's still cool, though.

Each of the Paragons open a portal I believe. Maybe there are only so many portals so they don't need a extra paragon. That might explain why they cut the garnet paragon,

One of the areas gives you a nice unique piece of loot too.

Garnets are not really that precious, so no I never missed having a garnet Paragon, nor would I even want two that looked exactly the same. A garnet paragon would look exactly the same as the Ruby one. Five of them to collect were enough.
