The price.

I'm fine with montly subscriptions, just not $15 with a starting $60. Heck $10 is to much for me. $7 a month or none of that $60 "buy" fee would be fine with me. But right now the first year $270. That's a bit much.

$270?

$60 buy fee

$15 * 11 months

= $225, if you add Taxes (in Canada it is 13%) you'd be looking at $254.25.

First month is free.

Sorry I meant $230 but I did't know the first month was free. Still a bit much.

Has $60.00 for the box been announced officially yet? FFXIV:ARR is $40.00 w/ $15/month, but that could be because it is a reboot.

But still consider this. If you go to the movies once a week, for an average of 52 weeks in one year, you would be paying $435.76 (average movie ticket price is: $8.38 not including popcorn or drinks). That's more.

FFXIV:ARR isn't a good comparison, because it's technically a relaunch.

I'm expecting box price for ESO to be either $50 or $60.

I can also find 50 cents a day just laying on the group around my college. 15 bucks a month is nothing.

Yes, this is a more accurate sum. Also, consider multiple month discounts that may be applied.

I did place a pre-order on Amazon and the price is $60 http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Online-Pc/dp/B0081Q58AW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1378170874&sr=8-2&keywords=Elder+Scrolls+Online

I don't know why it says the release date is Dec 31st 2014 . . . ye gods let's hope not.
