With nearly 19 days left till the first realease, what will you favorite KNOWN thing be? :fallout:

For me i can't wait for hardcoe mode, but the terrain and strip look cool. They can be seen in Dev Diary 3. The wepons look great, finnaly a FPS that actually looks like it will work well with the rpg system. (Fallout 3 was somewhat of a FPS but the no iron sights made FPS boring) Now iron sights is probably also one of my favorite new things.

Agreed all the new wepons look like they can rip apart a mutie, i just love about every single thing that i know about this game. Im sure there will be a downfall somewhere... but im not gonna search for it! :unsure:

Thats your choice, but for those players that like immersion and a challenge i apreciate the work that went into hardcoe mode.

I voted factions but that's mainly due to the fact that player choice and the uniqueness of player characters seems to have gotten a real boost in the game, and choice of factions is a sort of effect of that. So all the extra roleplaying that seems to be inserted (whether it be skill checks, stats affecting things more in general and freedom of choice) is really what has me excited.
hardcoe mode comes in second.

This entire topic seems very superfluous to me... How can i definitively say what i will like most when i haven't played the game? I could say what looks most interesting, or what i anticipate experiencing, but there is no way to say what i will like the most.

What I'm most anxious about is SPECIAL, skills, balance and dialogue.
As in, I'm most interested in seeing if this will be a good role playing game or not. (Like fallout 3 which was crap)

Two things are top of my list.

Reputation.
Dialogue.

I want to see how well they've done the dialogue, I hold high hopes for some realistic conversations with actual results (think dragon age effects, not talking black white kill or love shizzle, just discernible effects, they were immensely rare in FO3).
More than that I want to see the reputation system, if it's done well (which it should be) then I will be a happy man, the roleplay opportunities and more so the gameplay opportunities multiply massively with a good reputation system as opposed to FO3's karma only system.

Looking foward the most to factions. One of my disappointments about FO3 was that you couldn't join nor get very involved with any of the factions save the BOS (before FO3 got out, I was very interested in the conflict between the BOS and the BOSO and hoped we'd get to join either and take an active hand in this conflct) thus, with this being changed in New Vegas, it's something I'm looking forward to immensely!

Besides that, I'm also hoping for higher degree of maturity in this game than FO3, such as it is...
