The Ship Delilah

In the first mission, in Bundry Rothwild's office you can listen to a audiograph in which he states that the ship suffered damage and that it was apparently due to an "odd-looking whale".

It could be a Leviathan, and going with the theory that The Outsider is a Levianthan, well... The Outsider could have something personal against Delilah.

Any thoughts on this?

Whoa, an interesting observation. But to me it seems to be more of a mythic hint, than a direct thing. To attack a ship in a material form seems too crude and out of character for the Outsider, unless the ship iself is important somehow, which is doubtful.

The Outsider has something against Delilah for sure. To send an upset Daud to find somebody is hardly a gift to that person. I'm curious about the source of Delilah's powers. She spoke dismissively about the Outsider in the last scene, but she is a witch, and is he not the only source of magic in their world? Also her magic seems to be connected with plants somehow, and that does not look like the Outsider thing. It is said that Daud worked with the Brigmore witches before, but I don't know whether that should mean, that Delilah is working with the Outsider too, as Daud doesn't seem to be too attached to the man (thing?) and probably could look into some other magic sources or types, if there're such. And it is strange, that Delilah knows that Daud fell out of the Outsiders favour - from where did she get the info?

Maybe, the Outsider decided to wipe his list of chosen ones clean by putting them one against another. But who knows thoughts of shady whale deity? :D

Hmm... So much mystery and suspence! It's a good premise for a story, I hope Arcane will give us an impressive ending.

(I messed up the grammar, sorry)

Maybe you're right

I'm also curious about Delilah's power, but I suspect she might be one of those witches that go on warships.

.

I think Delilah might draw her power from the Outsider, but he's not exactly a manipulator and she might be against him for some reason. As for the plants, I think that is just her aspect, to indicate she is thorny.

From what I could gather from the books that come on the Void Walker's Arsenal, Daud is the son of a warship witch, (that might be why he has worked with witches before), but that doesn't explain anything about Delilah and everything. Maybe she's Daud's sister or something xDDDD

.

It's pretty good. I'm not english native either.
