The Steadfast Dwarven Spider

So what's the deal with this follower? I think it is awesome but I don't want it to die in a fight. Does anyone know whether or not it is an invincible follower or not?

If you get it in the ruin that you had to use the gems, yes it does. But if it does, they re-spawn so you can just go back and get one. There is also a dwarven sphere.

Mine doesn't fight that much (he just stands around) and frequently disappears during combat. Kind of weird. He usually shows up again after fast traveling.

No offense, but kill him and go get another. I took the dwarven sphere and watched as he took out 2 baddies in about 1 minute.

At the one ruin you have to use gems on to get in.

You will like this one. When I first started and put the gems in to open the first door, scared this old lady so bad that I almost dropped my coke! lol

I was going to upgrade to the sphere eventually. I think the spider's adorable so I am keeping him around for a bit.

Do they wait in the same spot permanently? I kind of want to take it back home with me.

How do you trigger them to follow you I go up to one of them and it's says you seem friendly and then I don't need a bucket of bolts laying around. If I exit before he says the bucket of bolts thing nothing happens.

It should give you another option besides rejecting him.. perhaps you have another pet following you.

I had the same issue; but it can be sorted out with the Meeko fix. The game just randomly thinks you already have a pet follower for some reason.
