The Survivor: Blood vs Water Thread

I was never really into survivor that much. Earlier this year, I found a site that offered every episode. I have to admit... I eventually watched every single one of them. The CBS page has the first 7 minutes available for the new season, that airs tonight.

I stopped watching it once it became less survival, more drama. Might get back into it, though. Looks a little interesting, to say the least.

I just never got into it. I liked the older seasons, but it's really more about social politics. The twists and the implementation of hidden idols and the intricities of strategy actually draws me in more than I would have expected.

I lost interest in survivor when they took out the ability to use the hidden idol even after the names where read, when they first introduced it-it added that ha ha moment but now you HAVE to use it before the names is read, it takes away strategy and shock and awe from the game.

It was too powerful before. It's adds a lot more strategy as it is now. The shock and awe is still there. I think it's a lot better now that you have to play it before the names are read. You must be certain of your actions.

Before, one could hold on to it for the entire game and never play it. The way it works now... it is played quite often.

Well, I missed the premier. Was watching Lost. And frankly, it was a toss-up between false survival and fictional-but-plausible survival (I've only just started watching the show yesterday, so forgive me if I stepped on anyone's toes by saying that). Lost just felt more interesting (and it is).
