? on the Telvanni Robes

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 9:20 am

There seems to be 2 versions of it. The one for 75% and the one for 150%? Cause I have the 75% magicka regen version. Is there anyway to get the 150% version? Cause I think that must be the one for Neloth.

You can get one from
Spoiler
a quest that Master Neloth sends you to kill a former apprentice.
That gives the Telvanni Robes that give you Magicka Regen 75%

I made a thread about this about a week ago. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1429209-telvanni-robes/page__pid__21963232#entry21963232

I've already came to a conclusion on the 150% Magicka Regen Telvanni Robes. Have a read.

Damnit. They're so cool looking, but definitely for males only, apparently. My briasts are just GONE when I put them on. I mean, even Miraak's robes give me my chest. Why didn't they do that for these robes?

Gah... The outfits in Skyrim... I don't undestand how hard it is to make fitted outfits for women...

Some of the armor I get sometimes. Like the Bonemold and Armor. You can't really see any briast-shapes but you can at least tell that the chest area has enough space to fit them in.
But the Telvanni robes? Nary a mound. What gives, game?

What evidence is there to support the existence of the 150% version? Why does everyone seem so sure that one exists? Who's to say Neloth's version isn't just the normal 75%?

Even if it is a 150% version, it's not like it's obtainable, so what does it even matter?

Am I one of the few people who doesn't matter about clothing style for Skyrim? I go for function not fashion...Plus I'm always in 1st person so its not like I notice but still.

I like some eye-candy so I would like something fashionable for my female followers.

Ironically, for every male clothing mod there's like 99 female clothing mods.

I have to say I personally like the Telvanni robes - hadn't even noticed that they made my Altmer's briasts disappear. I mean... how would you notice? Women in Skyrim aren't well-endowed in that area. Would be nice to get some unenchanted ones though. I don't think mages have enough choices in the game, though I did just accidentally discover that you can get a duplicate of the Master Robes that Tolfdir wears with the sort of purple overcoat on top.

Hmm obviously you have not looked closely at many women in Skyrim some are very well endowed in the chest area, think of the serving wench in the Falkreath inn for example, anneke crag hopper etc -i think you need to open your eyes.............

The tavern clothes which you can get in that cave Lucky something or other - are the most revealing but nope, none of them are well endowed.

How?

Watching a youtube video. A guy found Master Robes of Conjuration (you'd think they'd be Alteration if they were really Tolfdir's) as (random?) loot in a giant camp. I think the one just West of the Eldergleam sanctuary. I'm not sure I noticed a chest there before but I'll go and check and fingers crossed? Find it too. Get back to you if they're there when I try it.

Its just occurred to me that in the official game guide there is a mention of a CoW radiant quest where you track down a rogue wizard - and the one in the picture I think was wearing that variation of Master Robes. They may be random (though rare) loot. I think its hard to have a well dressed mage character in the game.

Oh, I misunderstood. Once you reach higher levels the master robes become more common in chests. I have yet to find an enemy wearing them though.

Umm... did you? Master Robes aren't that rare - but the ones with the overcoat on top, like Tolfdir's? I've never encountered them anywhere myself.

I really want unenchanted versions of all gear in this game. Or I wish you could remove enchantments without destroying the gear. Maybe when you have a high enough enchant skill you can do it or something. Lots of gear I like the look of but will never use because of enchants I don't like.

Hey, there was someone asking to be transixual on here.
So you know.. everyone wins.

But, I think Neloth has better robes because... he's f*cking Neloth.
svcks that the enchantments on them are so weak though. :/

On the note about armors fitted to females;
A lot of them DO. A lot of them don't. Sometimes it seems like an oversight on Bethesda's part, sometimes it's obvious that the armor would look the same either way.

Well we got our robes from an apprentice so it would only make sense Neloth has better ones. But how is it Xbox 360 players know he has ones with a 150% enchantment anyway? I have the perk for taking equipped items and his robes never showed up to even check, let alone try and steal.

That's what I'm trying to say. People are saying this like it's fact and absolute truth, and there's no evidence to support the claim. I wouldn't think it bad or good or anything were he to have a different set, but nobody knows if he does or not, there just isn't any way to know yet. So until PC players can state otherwise, I'm gonna have to assume he's wearing the same set.

I think if a female character wants to look female she has to go with the Companions' wolf armour.
