Assuming the NDA even allows you to say that you're in, I'd say 25 seconds after someone gets their confirmation Email ;)

This is true.

As I recall, Dragonborn beta testers weren't even allowed to mention they were in the beta.

edit: Makes sense. Someone who reveals they are in the beta. Even if they don't post any details, could trigger a load of posts begging for details or even make someone else in the beta think it's okay to post stuff as 'it's the official forums'

I do agree with the need for an NDA especially during the early beta stages. We saw what happened on the Dragonborn forums where people saw Reikling Spears and the character on a dragon. and whipped it up into useable spear weapons and free roam dragon riding. And that was just in the trailer.

With a beta it'd be worse. Someone posts about a feature that is later removed or disabled. Game is released, people are ranting because they'd read about this feature and was looking forward to it and now it's not even there.

NDA said people can't, people saying so will likely need to be saying it somewhere else on the internet than the (near official) forums (well, forums of their sister company).

I hate it when they say "extremely soon!", it's all relative. But I'm guessing within a month at least? Hopefully, and then maybe two months further after that for the bigger Beta- or more. We'll see

agree...

my bet is "VERY SOON" is within a few weeks. From the interview with mmorpg it sounds like the next few months would be intense beta testing in small groups over few hours per session.

I'm more interested in knowing if I got into the "first wave".

I must have signed up about 25 minutes after the site went live, hopefully we will all know soon.

Likely it doesn't matter when you signed up.

I believe they confirmed as much. Unless of course you sign up AFTER the first wave invites, which would then matter as far as getting one ;)

Lol, yeah. I think what matters is the "chance" you got or whatever they called it. Personally i was Average or Above Average, some got "Excellent". They'll probably get in sooner.
