Hi guys im new to the whole forum thing, normaly i dont pay attention but theres a first time for everything i guess?

I have came to the conclusion that takeing your time in crysis is the key to victory and while you can rack up a good K/D runnning around and switching to armor mode when you come into contact with the enemy i personally think there's better ways to play. What could that be? STEALTH! When i first started playing i was expermenting with the armor types and main used armor over stealth until i decided to go all out ninja and its fantasic.

I have made a new PSN account and currently have a K/D ratio over 3.0 achived with ONLY Melee stealth kills, Handgun kills and a few sniper kills! (Not going to use any other weapon! Ever!) Its also so much more fun then running and gunning in my opinon. There is nothing like leaping from various build and stabbing enimes in the throat or snapping there necks!

So my question is how do you play Crysis? And what makes it enjoyable?

P.S: Because i play this style in ranked 33 on the leaderbords for accuracy, im kinda proud!

Stealth Stealth Stealth, and when ive got a few more kills than deaths, i go in all guns blazing its a good tactic actually, kinda serious at first then you enjoy it towards the end, level 12 for stealth, Armor 7, Power 8, level 25 online

Lol you care about stats on a VIDEO GAME LOL pathetic, so pathetic that you create a new PSN ID lol, from your post here is what you actually meant to say "hey guys I was playing Crusis 2 like a noob and I was getting destroyed so with my 0.2 K/D ratio and my nerd rage cause I take VIDEO GAMES SERIOUS, I decided to create a new PSN so I could use the stealth ability and CAMP cause I have to the upper hand in every encounter cause I lack natural skill, anyways I have been using this noob strategy to get to a 3.0 K/D ratio because having good stats on a VIDEO GAME helps me in my real world responsilities".

Sorry people who actually care about stats on a VIDEO GAME are obviously taking VIDEO GAMES too serious maybe you should chill out no one cares if you have a .1 or 10 K/D ratio its not like crytek are paying you or pay a cheque out of $400 if you have a 3.0 K/D..

On topic the way I play, I play for fun I don't care if I go 6-24 or 20-0 its a VIDEO GAME and I use it as a way to have FUN, my current K/D is 2.4 but I couldn't care if that was 0.1 it has no signifigance on my world.

If i had a recording program i'd show my play style.

I am rank 39 almost and got a 2.50 K/D, though if i would start a new account now, i would have a K/D of 4.00 - 5.00

My trick is, well...thinking smart, use your suit to the maximum. I am more a power/jumper/stealth. Not much of a Armor user though.

My playstile is inspired by Elpresador. Enough said.

I use everything pretty equally. However in most situations stealth is great for example, when I play crash site stealth owns because you can easily pick off other players going for the site. I usually only use armor mode when running and gunning since you can become invincible if you switch it on and off at the right times.

Oh I don't use Armour Enchance lol but you carry on in your disgusting manner too. One day you will learn stats mean nowt and have no revlience on the real world, it takes skill to not HAVE the uppper hand I respect guys who double,triple kill noobs with an assualt rifle more than your "skill" as they never have the upper hand in the situation and rely on PURE SKILL, by having the advantage you have no skill cause you can only kill when YOU DO have the advatage, & thats not skill, not EVER!

my play style is what i want to do at the moment and change my style mid game if its not workin out for me. if i want to snipe, i simply go to my snipe custom class. if im not good at it, ill change to a class i find success with. i mostly use my SMG class with the good ol' Feline.

Personally think running around in cloak meleeing people is a pretty cheap and unskillful way to play.

Its much easier to run up to someone with your secondary and press a button twice than it is to win a straight up gun fight. Proof if its cheapness is when you get Maximum Nanosuit, its usually much better to run around with a secondary meleeing people than to run around shooting.

I'm certainly not impressed by the K/D ratio of anyone who plays this way. Supposed to be a first person shooter. Just my opinion ofcourse

Why is it that people talk about a K/D ratio on crash site? Isn't the point of that game to capture/hold the crash site? So, you're k/d ratio really doesn't matter in that game. I think it is about the game that you are playing and how you play with the team that you are on. There seems to be a lack of communication when you are going after objectives.

The best is when I get the most capture/hold points on crash site and then the guy with the k/d ratio starts whinning...HA!

FUNNY but harsh. I do sorta agree with you though. creating a new psn id so people can't see your past stuff ups? why didn't you just apply this tactic and improve on your last game. No other weapon EVER? That kind of takes away most of the fun of the game don't you think? So if they made a game that was just you standing at a firing range shooting at a target with a scoped weapon and you could get a great accuracy score you would buy it and be the best?

SCAR with Gauss,Scope, Ext. Clip
and
DSG-1 with a silencer.

That's my playstyle.
If you wonder why am I using the Gauss attachment, it's bugged!
I get gauss kills whenever I kill with the SCAR!

I'm a run and gunner - and I do terrible ...but great fun to play.

I usually run and jump everywhere - trying to get an Airstomp and spraying people with bullets. Only really switch on stealth to re-load, collect dog tags or to run away if I'm in trouble.

Amour up as I'm going in to a fight. Although, got an awful habbit of turning my armour off the second I've got a kill - leading to many of my deaths.

damnit you exposed the secret. im ranked somwhere near 100th in xp (no boosting). but since the cats outta the bag already then YES this is the way to go.

who cares if someone wants to raise their stats in a video game.

its JUST a game for you but it can be more to others. like me. i play for money on MLG. it might not pay the bills but who cares. its fun doing it

My style is to be annoyed by all the noobs who use cloak 24/7 with a silenced Feline and hip spray.

i just run and gun. sometimes switch to stealth and armour. i dont really care for all them stats and stuff tbh

The way I play the Campaign? It's all about being sneaky for me.

The way I play the Multiplayer? Well, killing is what I'm good at, though it sure feels challenging in MP because it's rather fast-paced. It is hard to be stealthy because they can see you if they look close enough, and ripping fire at them will fully deplete your suit's energy, so you'd better hope you land swift, lethal shots before he dons his armor mode.

How do I play? Or how should the rest of the community play, so they man up and stop complaining?

I tag em. You're on the opposite team as me? Guess what, you got a tag above you're head.

Hiding in stealth mode? TAGGED!

Armour mode? TAGGED!

Radar Jammer? TAGGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiding in stealth will not, and can not save you from being tagged. Tired of getting killed by snipers and people who cloak? Look at the battlefield first. Stop biching saying the game is unfair when tagging the dude puts him right now in the open.

As for my play style... I play for fun, so I change it up quite regularly. I mostly run and gun with the scar and seldom use armor. Pressing L2 before I fire all the time is too much work.
