I have been reading the latest news and the xbox got all screwed up but im wondering if i can play it now cause it has been like 2 weeks since the patch.

No. Honestly they've had so many more issues added with the latest patch. Sorry!

As long as you don't download any dlc or updates it seems stable.
I've just come to these fourms looking for answers myself. Constant crashes and now none of my saves will load again, gotta start over for the second time, thats 100 hours of game time completely down the tube. As you might imagine i am none to pleased and sure as hell will not be purchasing any more bethesda games or dlc untill it gets sorted.

It varies from system to system, what effects another, wont necessarily effect yours. A lotta people have had problems with this patch, but a good number have also had 0 problems since this patch's release.
