I just killed my account.

I'm certain of getting a ban now. After voicing some opinions on whether theoretical science in terms of the origin of the universe should be considered a religion or not, I've most likely broken the no religion or politics discussion on this forum rule, making my ban absolute.

It would be nice to stay here, but I know this is going it happen. But then again, I'm always wrong. I might just get a warning.

But I'm sorry for doing that. It's just that I was feeling particularly passionate about my religion today, and some people's opinions rubbed me the wrong way.

Let me know if there's any way to get out of a ban with permission from the moderators/admins. :(

Either nothing will happen or you will get a warning, especially considering that you didn't totally derail a thread or anything.

This probably counts as spam and is breaking a forum rule. :P

I figured as much. I just didn't think any mod/admin read those little statuses this forum has.

So I'm getting two warnings. Yep, I'm banned. :(

Hey, take it easy, Lex. You'll probably get a warning at most. I highly doubt you'll get outright banned - you weren't trolling or being aggressive. This thread probably does count as spam though. I suggest you message a mod and clear things up, and things will probably be fine.

Just morph your name into EpicFail, and I promise nothing will happen to you.

Yeah, I don't think it'll be that bad. It is called a "warning" for a reason, they have to give you chance.

You had me worried, for a second I thought you actually died.

You won't even get a warning. You will get a warning's warning if anything, I still doubt it. You just need to chillax bro.

I can feel myself turning into EpicFail more and more every day. :(

But I doubt messaging a mod woukd do any good. Besides, it's too awkward to negociate (hope I spelt that right) with a person with such power, especially when you know you'll be on the losing side. :(

Just apologize and promise you'll be more careful from now on. It's obvious you sincerely want to stick around, and the mods are normal human beings who will in all likelihood be reasonable. It's not as bad a situation as it probably seems to you. :)

"I'm always wrong" seems to be a recurring theme with you today.

Also, you'll be fine. I always check daily if EF is banned. If he's not been banned, I'm good.

You're taking this a little too seriously. You said a mildly political thing on an internet forum without flame baiting. Not that bad.

I'm curious, what would you do if he was banned?

Edit: I also thought that I'd let you know that I completely cracked up when I saw that your location was diarrhea.

I highly doubt you will be banned for discussing religion.

We do it all the time for a couple of pages until someone tells us to stop, and we do.

He thinks that since he can't express his religious views we can't talk about scientific fact.

Hell I got into a heavy debate about some one loosely throwing around derogative names for native americans and I didnt even get a slap on the wrist. I think the other guy got off the hook too.

Kinda wondering if this qualifies as a goodbye thread or not. That's a no-no. I'm gonna go ahead and lock it.

I'm not sure that 'normal' human beings enjoy Terry Pratchett as much as I do....
