Y U NO DROP SOUL?!

Third dragon today who doesn't allow me to take his soul. Yes, I don't need no souls anymore, but I feel awesome when I sulk it in.
And speaking off, I never tried soul trap on them. Does that even work? If so, what kind of soul is it?
