This is my first post on the forums, and I hate that it had to be on such a tired topic as DLC. Regardless, I recently had an idea that I would like to run by the autonomous collective of the internet lore-checkers. In the files for a recent update, you all know that code was found for a "Snow Elf Prince". This leads me to believe that if it was not coding for Gelebor or Vrythur they are building up to a future introduction of such a character. Within the lore, of course, they have spoken of the character, leading me to believe he will be a separate character. Also in the lore, there is documentation of the conflict between the Snow Elves (now Falmer) and the Dwemer. Therefore, would it not make sense that in a future DLC that Bethesda would look for a reason to bring in both Dwemer and the true Snow Elves? Bethesda is well known for their love of bilateral conflicts, and this would certainly be an interesting one that has been heartily foreshadowed. The rise of the Snow Elf Prince would possibly bring about the rapid reconstitution of Falmer society, making them a threat to the world. At this point, the Dwemer, from whatever plane they now inhabit, would see the need to swoop down and fix a problem they helped create. Would this work lore-wise? I understand that Bethesda could retcon anything they wanted, but with breaking current lore, could this work? Also, do you think they would do such a thing, and would you enjoy it?
tl;dr: In a future DLC could Bethesda bring back both the Dwemer and the Snow Elves for a bilateral conflict without severely damaging the lore? Also, do you think they would do such a thing and would you enjoy it?
