Everything I've read about this game just seems like a massive let-down, but if there's one thing this game absolutely needs, it's books.

And I don't mean static objects in the world that I can click on that have windows that pop up like in Warcraft, and I don't mean Dragon Age-style codex, I mean proper items that take up room in my inventory, the Lusty Argonian Maid and the Remanada, Elder Scrolls-style books.

Because an Elder Scrolls game without books is hardly an Elder Scrolls game at all.

The scans say that you need books to gain influence with the Mages guild. Idk if those have writing or are simply static objects.

I'm guessing you are in it for the lore like me? Hopefully the books contain interesting snippets of lore AND the old books whenever appropriate.

I hope there is books, books telling stories and lore from the history of the world really add depth. I hope they don't skimp out and not add them. it hurts nobody to add the books into the game.
