Is there a fix for interior light distance yet?

You know when you're in a dungeon and suddenly a torch becomes brighter 10 feet away from you? It's really bothering me. It doesn't seem to be as apparent in Vanilla Skyrim. It clearly becomes visible when using ENB's however. If any of you want to test it yourselves just open up the enb ini and tweak the "PointLightingCurveNight". Put it to 2.0 and you'll see what I mean.
I looked everywhere for other topics on this and no one has been able to change the distance at which it 'turns on'.
So my question is, does anyone know if there even is a fix to this? Is the point light distance hard coded? Are there any mods that fix this problem?
If there isn't a fix does anyone know a good ENB ini setting that keeps dungeons dark while fixing this problem? The only way I managed to make it as less apparent as possible was by putting the curve night to 0.0 and removing interior fog. However that only made the caves a good amount brighter(I'm already using a darker dungeon mod) while making the lighting an ugly dim yellow instead of a warm orange.
I'd appreciate any help on this, it totally ruins immersion in dungeons..
