Is there a marriage bug?

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 6:23 pm

Why I ask is because my character married Argis the Bulwark and afterwards he disappeared and didn't return even after fast traveling. He's no where to be seen. Very strange. I think I'll play Fallout New Vegas until the game is really fixed by modders because Bethesda isn't going to. The marriage companion, especially when they're companions, shouldn't just disappear after the wedding.

Well, Bethesda hit the reality button on that one. A man fleeing after he got married?

Really, read. I said Argis who is male. Do you know anything about the game? BTW, user name sevalaricgirl. Think that means I'm female.

Argis was my companion so he should have followed me during fast travel.

I'll say it again. This needs to be fixed by modders because who ever coded this did a very poor job of it. It's absolutely ridiculous. Bethesda has it coded that the marriage npc doesn't even wait until the wedding is over to leave. I love Skyrim but it falls very short in many ways.

Absolutely agree. I have stopped playing the game for now (I get on and mess around sometimes, but don't do quests or anything). Hopefully it doesn't take the modders too long to fix it.

The first time I got married the bride never showed up my house after I saw her walk out of the Chapel. Finally i decided to go back to the Mara Temple (chapel) and there she was inside. She just came up to me and said "I can't believe we are married. I'll see you at home my love". So if she doesn't show up check back at Mara's temple.

i think they are just automatically supposed to go to the house or where you originally found them

not to big of a deal, just go back to where you found em or if you talked to them before they leave the wedding they ask where to live
