Is there a MOD to strip 'hidden' items off NPCs?

Post » Sat May 19, 2012 1:08 am

Several NPCs come with items which doesn't show up in the inventory once they're dead or that cannot be pickpocketed not even with the top perk. Is there a mod which makes these items available?

I believe someone was working on such a function via Dragonscript... It was possible to make NPCs naked with the stroke of a key and everything they carried ended up in the inventory. I tried to look on Nexus but I couldn't find it anymore?

Does anybody have a link for this MOD (if it was indeed released and not just some WIP talk)?

That's the most annoying thing with the npc's in skyrim. currently we can only force them to equip a different item with console or mods. but i wish we could make all their items removable. probably have to wait for the ck for that

and script dragon already comes with the mod you described. you bring up the console,, click npc then hit delete.

You could try follower tweaks http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3111

Do you mean one of the example scripts that are in the package? I've never installed them. I must give them a try. Thanks! :)

The Script Dragon plug Remove clothes is very tempory indeed its more a disable for a little while then a remove The sooner CK comes out the better so as these corny items can be done away with fully and replaced with real world items

The problem is, many of these items are marked as non-playable. Naturally, those items won't show up in an NPC's inventory.

The current version of SkyEdit is able to open the armour records, so it is theoretically possible to create a plugin that would make those changes.
