Is there a way to increase color..?

Post » Sun May 20, 2012 9:18 am

Landscaping seems a bit grey'ish to me.

I'm not sure if it's my gx card or settings. I have seen some screenshots that produce amazing colors from ingame.

I am seeing colors fine with spells/books/items/ect... just wondering why the scenery is so darkish...sometimes grey.

Try this: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=131

Has options to increase saturation. You may try better calibrating your monitor as well.

Do you have a nVidia videocard ?
If so, then Digital Vibrance is the thing for you.

Check out the control-panel.
Left-click your desktop. Select "NVIDIA Control Panel".
In the left column, look for: Display - Adjust Desktop Color Settings. Click it.
Under section 3, check out "Digital Vibrance".

By sliding the Digital Vibrance slider up, you will increase the livelyhood of the colors on your screen.
Not only on the desktop, but also during games, like Skyrim.
I play with Digital Vibrance set to +65%. But of course this will depend on your monitor and its settings.

I like lively colors when playing games. I have a friend who is a video-editor. He saw my colors, and had to puke. Not realistic he said.
I don't mind. I like my fantasy to be not realistic .... :-)

There was a .ini variable that turned off the grey filter. I think you can find it in a thread mentioning the 'saveini' console command.
