There is no way the PC specs can be correct.

My apologies to Ralph!

I keep looking over the screenshots and drooling. Is it really possible that my single 2G 6950 can produce that kind of picture? According to the hardware threads, I should be able to run the game on high if not maxed... yet when I play Dragon Age 2, granted it's smooth as heck, but there are the occassional "Loading" mesages during cutscenes. The draw distance on Saint's Row 2 is also kind of short compared to my old 4870x2.

I just... Don't believe that the recommended specs are going to produce those screenshots. I think you're going to need to blow the recommended specs out of the water to get images like the screenshots. Are there any places where different levels of detail are presented? Low, Medium, and OMGMYFACE levels of detail? I admit that I don't play first person or supergraphic games very often anymore so my frame of reference might be off.

I'm just not buying it. Am I alone in that?

Seriously, a 2 Gb 6950 is way above and beyond this game.

Dragon Age 2 is a poorly ported bug ridden game.

It also depends on your CPU.

Game is more CPU heavy then GPU but a GPU will still be a noticable factor. The art style is stunning the technical visuals are not THAT great they are decent but not spectacular

You have to remember - the game has been fine tuned for the x-crate. This is 6 year old technology - the practical upside of this is that if it'll look good on an xbox it'll DEFINATLY look good on a PC

I bet you've never played Crysis 1..........

A 6950hd can easily play ultra on it, and it's graphics are betteer than those of TES V from the screenshots(I don't know if they are better, or how much better in game).

Wow, so I guess I'm the problem with my machine. ^_^

I haven't played Crysis or anything that's all that graphically challenging apparently. I thought DA2 had pretty high end graphics, but I guess not.

Thanks! Looking forward to bumping this thread with my experiences on Friday!

Don't forget, high-res texture packs will DEFINITELY be coming eventually. Those will melt your face even more

I agree: skyrim is a good looking game but its nothing ground breaking.

Also, its funny to think that oblivion and skyrim have kinda similar system requirments. Both meant to be played on the same hardware yet the visual difference is pretty striking.
