there will be no hate

ok im a couple hours in and theres on thing i can tell:

if skyrim keeps delivering like id did so far, this will be one of those rare games everbody loves. imagine it in a line with gameslike baldurs gate, deus ex1, stuff like that.

the content is amazing, the mechanics are groundbreaking and the execution is very good. this is like the morrowind 2 weve all been waiting for.

i expect like 1/100 threads be a bashing thread, not 50/50 like oblivion

Awful to hear. Skyrim should be Skyrim - not Morrowind 2. We already saw one Morrowind which was a good game, but it had some serious problems on quest-jamming, annoying combat system and unlikeable lore with ash and really ugly buildings, NPC's and cities. I wish not to see such a problems in Skyrim.

If the quality of the product had anything to do with the percentage of negative threads, that might be true.

In rl, not so much.

no, there will be hate
a lot of people decided they hated the game months ago and their egos won't allow them to backtrack on that now
thats the nature of the internet

Morrowind had spectacular lore, NPC's and cities. Don't agree with you there.

The game sounds great so far, but its only day 1.

Some bodys going to find something then every bodys going to jump on it like a band wagon. Its still way early it may take weeks or months before people start to realize what they dont like.

HAH you forget that alot of the people that play video games have cerebral palsy/ ADHD and blame their lack of hand-eye-cordination/ stupid decision making skills on the video game.

It's good you liked it. I liked only two cities: Balmora and Ebonheart. Most disliked city for me was Vivec. I hated ash filled lore and really hated the Region of Telvanni (and their towers and levitation spell). Only region I liked was Solstheim. But I liked the items, Great Houses, Strongholds and the feeling of roleplaying.

Dont say morrowind 2, people have no idea why you like Morrowind so you'll get flamed for it. its not Morrowind 2 because Dagoth ur or the nervarine aren't back, but of course when you say, I hope Beth does to Skyrim what they did for Morrowind, people will think you're talking about Morrowind 2.

Oh, there will be plenty of hate.

Go tell the RPG codex you think this is the best RPG ever and see what kind of response you get. :P

The Mechanics, Graphics and Gameplay can be different. But the play that they made the World fluid, lore-friendly, immersible and real can be compared to Morrowind (Maybe even better)
