These random crashes

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 3:33 am

I understand that the game is not even a day old yet, but its getting a little annoying. Even with the day-one patch that was suppose to help fix stability issues, random crashes still happen on my system. I am running the game on my PC. Is anyone else have issues with random crashes to desktop?

Yes, I'm having the same problem. And so is a lot of others. There's a lot of other bugs as well I've encountered and the game is pretty much unplayable in its current state for me.

I am sorry to hear that. In my situation i can play for a while before it crashes, restarting the computer seems to help it a little bit. I hope the powers that be come out with another patch in the next few days to fix these practically unplayable bugs.

If you're crashing to the desktop, try this workaround
1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sound 2. In the Playback tab, right click on Speakers (or whatever has a green tick next to it), then click Properties 3. In the advanced tab on this new window, select 24 bit, 44100Hz (Studio Quality) in the drop down menu

Game crashes are the worst. Nothing worse than them other than BSODs.

Its only happened to me twice. luckily though, I'm one of those over-cautious gamers who quicksaves once a minute just because of my Oblivion experiences. So both crashes only resulted in a few seconds of lost gameplay. As you said though the game's only a day old, I'm sure there are many bugfixes to come!

You need to make a thread about it in PC H&S with all the details and specs. That way if someone can help you they will and if not, at least the devs can see it and investigate it. I'm very sorry you are having problems.
