There is already a legendary artifact called Cuirass of the Savior's Hide. Does this seem stupid to anyone else? Don't even try to suggest that they are the same armor.

The main thing that strikes me as odd is that when I think of "savoir's hide"--I imagine this mighty warrior tearing through ancient tombs and saving this hold group of people . . . then he gets an arrow to the hide.

They are the same thing but named differently.

There's more than one Savior's Hide. Unlock a lot of the artifacts it isn't one single item. When a mortal has done something to win Hircine's favor, & offers him the skin of a suitably impressive kill he creates a Cuirass of Savior's Hide out of it.

There's a reason it has looked completely different every time it shows up.

I'd say it's pretty obviously the same artifact. I mean, pretty much all the artifacts look at least a little different from game to game.

I remember prior to launch wondering how they would do the Savior's Hide since the greaves and cuirass are merged in Skyrim. Solution: You just don't wear any pants with it.

Its the same thing. Its the same reason multiple people can get the Razor, skeleton key, and other items.

I never fool with it, myself. It's just not the same since the Empire outlawed Talos and pants.

Yeah I know, everyone knows Saviour has a 'U' in it.

It still isn't supposed to be a whole set of armor, just a top.


...on the other hand, if your female character wears it to the alchemy table, you'll see that it is, in fact, just a top.
