They tried to save money but have probably ended up losing i

I understand it may be more complicated than this but hear me out. Oblivion was ported to PS3 by 4J studios which was flawless. Then Bethesda made Fallout 3 for PS3... It was horrific the only saving grace was how incredibly good the game was (one of my all time favourites by far) Then you'd think after 5 years maybe they'd got the hang of it? no.... They were so [censored] greedy (probably zenimax actually) that they wouldn't give it to 4J studios for a port again and have ended up pissing off quite a few PS3 users AND lost money by having to divert time to fix it AND the possible loss of revenue from DLC. So surely in an effort to save money/time/respect, they've actually lost all those things... just doesn't make sense...

Agreed mate agreed.

Edit: Beth is also going to lose much more money for thinking they can get away with cheating thier costumers, well Beth guess how much Dishonored will sell on the PS3 because don't expect big numbers. Actually don't expect to see any numbers.

Yeah, it seems Bethesda doesn't really learn from their mistakes. What I don't understand is how Bethesda has gotten this far with the buggy ps3 version and messed up dlc. Bethesda stated before Skyrim's release that they had solved many problems and gave it more attention, but seeing the mess they are in now doesn't make much sense.

It doesn't make sense when you sit and think about it from a personal, moral perspective. But think about it from a business perspective:

Honestly, if you kept putting out half-finished games and people kept gobbling them up, why would you change your business model? There's no need to change because what you are doing is apparently working. There's no need for polished, finished games, because people are just going to buy the unfinished, glitchy ones you make. Think of all the money you save without all that pesky QA testing!

The only thing they are going to understand or care about is the money in their wallets.

^ I seen this before and it will only work for them in the short term as you can now see what is happening poeple are starting to not buy into thier lies this time around and now thier wallets and bank accounts our going to get lighter and lighter with each new game they try to push out with lies, lies and more lies. Guess Beth will now regrat for not thinking it out in the long term.

They really do need to re-think their decision making paradigm, when it comes down to making their games. Yet, as Smugetsu illustrates above, until such time that ZeniMax's & Bethesda's bank accounts and perhaps their stockholder earnings are drastically and negatively impacted, they won't wake up and do such a thing anytime soon.

Yeah, this is true, but how long till Bethesda completely goes down hill, if not already. The things is many people including me believe that Skyrim in general was Bethesda's lesser works and they made some really bad choices; things like too much "streamlining", less spells, less monsters, worse quests and more. Top this with all the bugs and lack of support, especially for ps3, and you can see Bethesda's reputation already taking a turn. Any smart company would try to bounce back up and restore the trust with their customers and supporters. At this point Bethesda probably realizes their mistakes and it won't be long till we start seeing a change.

I still say that they anticipated all of this happening. Why? 'cause it all happened before with FO3 almost the same way as it's happening now. But instead of doing the right thing and correcting their mistakes they too the lazy way out by taking advantage of them by pricing the DLC at $20 instead of $10 like they normally did with their previous DLCs. Doubling the price tag may very well cover the loses of the very poor sales DG will have when (if) it comes out.
Look how much he mocks the PS3 (LBP, remark) and how he mocks of PS3 users with the pictures he takes with his iphone :stare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbQK3cURWDA
Probably has a lot of pictures of theads here and makes fun of them.
