The main voice actor known as Stephen Russell has been replaced unfortunately. The game is scheduled for release in 2014 for PC, PS4 and other next generation consoles.

Perosnally for me changing the VA killled the game for me already. im an old fan and deadly shadows is one of my favoirate games ever. i do hope they will reconsider their decision and bring back the Garrett we all know and love.

Looks like I'd better get started building my computer I'm wanting to build soon so I can have some sneaksy thiefsie action on the PC.

Speaking of voice actor changes, at least it wasn't as bad as it is with Carmelita in the Sly series. Of course, the fandom has made the voice actress changing more like a feature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEMji0nr0tg

Garrett at least got someone who fits just as well. I'm only fearing that we may get... Another Cavador searching type of mission. I hated that mission. I cheated out of it after about 5 hours spent in it. I hope Eidos knows how painful that mission was. Also hope they keep the outdated English and use taffer plenty. No taffing about with my taffers!

I'm starting to like Garrett's new outfit. It isn't that bad when you get used to it. I prefer his old look, but this one isn't horrid. Now if they get rid of Garrett's wise remarks, that might be considered sinful in some parts of the world.

Huge disappointment. He was Garrett, and his voice narrated the best gaming moments of my childhood. I'll still buy the game and I'll still support the series (hey, I thought Deadly Shadows was pretty decent) but I'll miss SR.
