Obvious spoilers incoming...

When you meet Delvin Mallory's brother who's the smith in Raven Rock and do his related quest he will give you a key to his house. Get to his basemant and in that room you get access his thieves guild style armour. Did anyone notice the note in the room referring Sapphire of the thieves guild as his daughter? Well I took the boat back to skyrim and as it turns out sapphire has a new conversation option and a reward that's worth a pretty penny. I always wondered about how some characters seem half baked and this is just beth filling in some blanks which I feel deserves some recognition and props. Dragonborn has been a blast so far!

It would be awesome if you can marry her. That is if you can keep your throat safe while sleeping.

I'd be more worried about her dad. He'd probably noticed me jumping the boat outta town and his unsent letter missing haha

Yep Blackguard armor is pretty sweet

The best part is that a quest didn't pop up and with all the loot you could be easily distracted enough to ignore and not even pick up the letter. Then to go through the trouble of going back to riften... I wish vanilla skyrim had more "little" things like this.

It's the quest you get after he tells you about a traveller who he thought was in the thieves guild. You'll end up in a Riekling cave I believe.

yeah how do i get that quest ?

You have to be member of the thieves guild in Skyrim, and have done a couple of quests for them. When you go to the island, and go to the blacksmith there is an option saying something about the shadowmarks.
