Note: this may include thieves guild spoilers.

I have gotten to the final thieves guild mission where you are supposed to become guildmaster. However after I talk to Brynjolf and go to the center of the cistern room the ceremony does not start. Everyone just stands there like robots no matter how long I wait. Everyone I try talking to just tells me to wait until after the ceremony. I've tried waiting but the ceremony just won't start. I've tried leaving the area and coming back later, I've tried using the wait function, I even tried attacking Brynjolf and paying reparations, and it's still frozen. I'm trying to get the plat trophy so this bug is very frustrating. Help greatly appreciated.
